We take the worry off of you.

Sports & The Arts develops artwork programs housed in stadiums and arenas, and does it all with a turnkey approach. From initial concepts to final installation, we manage all of the aspects necessary to provide our clients with world-class experiences that they and their patrons can marvel at, learn from, and simply enjoy. And our clients are involved with us every step of the way, always aware of the both big picture and the smaller next steps as we work through an engagement.

Art Direction

Sports & The Arts works with clients to determine the scope of a project, and guides each artist in developing the subject matter and expression of each piece of art. Sports & The Arts commissions artists who excel in distinctive and diverse mediums, among them, oil on canvas paintings, mixed media, original works on paper, photography, sculpture, and large-form murals. We also seek artists possessing non traditional styles of expression in order to provoke from the fan a wide range of emotional reaction. Sports & The Arts offers non-traditional art mediums such as photo printing on canvas, and utilizing surfaces such as plexiglass, metal and tile.

Curation

The curation process includes selecting each installation location based upon research to create overall symmetry throughout the collection. We evaluate factors including environment, fan accessibility, natural and artificial lighting and reserved wall spaces for each individual piece. Sports & The Arts works with project contractors, architects and interior designers to select the most appropriate location for each piece, eliminating costly delays and facilitating ease of installation and preventing duplication of efforts.

Artist Selection

Sports & The Arts identifies both local and countrywide talent as well as luminaries in the art world to customize a truly cutting edge collection. Whether the project includes fine art portraits, sculpture, photography or murals, Sports & The Arts will identify and present the finest, award-winning artists in their field. Sports & The Arts selects the art and the artists who will best complement each location, creating distinctive moods in specific areas within the space. We actively seeks out local artists to enhance the community appeal of all project when possible.

Historic Research & Development

Sports & The Arts spends considerable time researching team and city histories. We work with various Hall of Fame institutions, local historians and libraries enabling us to create an installation that both the art critic and fan will enjoy.

Framing

Sports & The Arts offers a large number of framing designs, each chosen to enhance the interiors of the space. These designs offer selective pricing preferences for different locations in the Arena, and will include several choices for framing, mounting and matting. Sports & The Arts works with your interior designers to ensure that all selections complement the furniture design, wall coverings, flooring, lighting and other aesthetics.

Installation

Sports & The Arts’ team of installation experts oversee all logistics required for each custom installation. Large scale projects on average will consist of 500–1,500 individual custom pieces of art and photography. Both union and nonunion projects require a dedicated, seamless installation effort. We manage the relationships and needs between building management, ownership, team representatives, architects, interior designers and the FFE efforts. We provide all necessary personnel, equipment and timetables which give our clients assurance that their installation will be completed professionally, on-time, and with exceptional results.
